With it all new Ultrasonic fascility and state of the art equipment TPS Technitube Röhrenwerke GmbH is able at the TechniFactory Stainless division to design the most special and tailor-made test requirements to satisfy the ever increasing demand for improved and higher tubular surface execution for stainless steel and special alloy tubes. The uniqueness of the pilgering process builds the base for an extraordinary tubular surface. This is coupled at TPS with its proprietary heat treatment, designed for special surface requirements. You will get the proof if you order an ultrasonic test for your material which will be designed acc. to your individual needs.

How do we improve our products? How do we optimize our process stability and offer an outstanding, proven level of our quality?

In addition to the continuous training and qualification of our employees, we keep our machinery and equipment at the cutting edge of technology through ongoing investment. Recently, at TechniFactory INOS, we started operating a state-of-the-art ultrasonic system capable of meeting highest non-destructive testing requirements. With a total investment of nearly €2 million, TechniFactory INOS‘s seamless austenitic tubes will undergo one of the harshest longitudinal and lateral ultrasonic tests over their entire length to detect defects inside and outside, using the new 46-meter-long ultrasound system if you wish so. In addition, automated wall thickness and dimension measurements can also be carried out. With a speed of up to 120 m/min, we examine your tubular acc. to your specific test requirements. The electronic signals receipt during the testing phase are processed simultaneously and converted into test results in addition, a separate evaluation is carried out according to defect type and position. These detailed results are on one hand your assurance of our product quality. On the other hand, we use those data for a systematic and continuous improvement of all our production parameter and process for your tubes.

Constantly increasing demands of our customers, build the base to develop techniques to find irregularities which couldn´t be found before in our Industrial serial production using our new ultrasound system. As a result, highest quality requirements in the automotive and semiconductor industries can be met. Withdirect gasoline injection especially, system pressures can rise to more than 350 bar, so the components tested by us meet the safety-related requirements of end customers and help enhancing performance. And thanks to this latest non-destructive testing technology, the heat exchanger industry and its equipment manufacturers can also be supplied with such level of quality!

• roughness outside and inside Ra max. 0,4 µm
• for special applications, such as clean room processes, semi-conductor, bio-technology or automotive industry
• suitable for electro-polishing (roughness can be reduced by 50% to max. Ra 0,2 µm)


Super Bright Surface Level 2
