UNS S32750

In the solution annealed condition, Super Duplex UNS S32750 – 1.4410 has a balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure, is mechanically highly resistant and shows an excellent corrosion resistance in seawater. Due to its high resistance, weight and therefore material costs can be saved compared to other qualities. This material grade is particularly suitable for applications in the Oil & Gas industry, in desalination plants, in the Chemical industry as well as for geothermal applications. The characteristics of UNS S 32750 are as follows: • high stress corrosion resistance in chloride- and hydrosulphide-containing environment • high corrosion resistance to seawater • high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion • mechanically very resistant • very good weld ability • good thermal conductivity with low thermal expansion
