Low Alloy Steel

Compared to carbon steel, low-alloy steel has additional alloying elements that improve certain properties such as weldability, hot strength or formability. From a technical point of view, low-alloy steel has a total of 1 to 5% of additional alloying elements. Low-alloy steels are used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, among others.
