Grade 1 • 3.7025 • TPS-Titanium 1
Due to the favourable proportion between stability and density as well as due to the good corrosion resistance, pure titanium grades are, on the one hand, suitable for the production of components in weight-saving constructions and, on the other hand, for components with high corrosion resistance. The low heat expansion compared to other metallic grades also leads to lower thermal stress in titanium constructions. Titanium is also used in the medical sector due to its very good biocompatibility.
